Women who find that their profession is getting affected with the occurrence of cellulite wish for measures to reduce its effects of puckered skin. However, they eventually end up with the same condition all over again. This is because cellulite is not a disease and neither is it a symptom of something else. It is simply the body’s natural response to the need to store fat for emergency usage. In healthy individuals, fat is not stored in the usual parts of the body but it is directed towards the layer beneath the skin where it deposits as cells with fat content stretching the skin further than its capacity causing potholes on the surface that give it a honeycomb like appearance referred to as cellulite.
All the methods of cellulite removal are based on treating the look of the skin rather than treating the fat deposits and that is why they do not work. For example, liposuction is based on the removal of deep fat cells by pulling it out but it does not work with surface deposits such as that of cellulite.
